Creating an iSCSI target and provisioning LUNs

You can create an iSCSI target and provision LUNs.

To create an iSCSI target and provision LUNs

  1. Prerequisites:

    Configure storage.

    Start the iSCSI service.

  2. Quick Actions: Go to Provision Storage > iSCSI Block storage > Provision iSCSI LUNs, and then click Continue.
  3. Click the Configure Storage tab and specify the storage options.
  4. Click the Start iSCSI Service tab, and then click Start iSCSI Service to start the iSCSI service.
  5. Click the Provision Storage tab, and then click Select storage pool to select a storage pool for the file system.
  6. Click Target and choose the required options for the target and LUNs.
  7. Click Advanced and select a required file system layout type.
  8. Click Provision iSCSI.
  9. View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
