Creating an iSCSI target and provisioning LUNs
You can create an iSCSI target and provision LUNs.
To create an iSCSI target and provision LUNs
- Prerequisites:
Configure storage.
Start the iSCSI service.
- Quick Actions: Go to Provision Storage > iSCSI Block storage > Provision iSCSI LUNs, and then click Continue.
- Click the Configure Storage tab and specify the storage options.
- Click the Start iSCSI Service tab, and then click Start iSCSI Service to start the iSCSI service.
- Click the Provision Storage tab, and then click Select storage pool to select a storage pool for the file system.
- Click Target and choose the required options for the target and LUNs.
- Click Advanced and select a required file system layout type.
- Click Provision iSCSI.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
