Adding or editing a tier policy on a secondary tier
To add or edit a tier policy on a secondary tier
- Prerequisites:
Create the secondary tier.
- In the File Systems tab, select the file system that has the secondary tier. Select the Storage tab.
- Configured Policy Rules: Click the plus icon.
- Select what action to take (Data Movement or Data Deletion).
- Selected Policy Rules: Right-click the ellipses and select Modify Policy.
- Add or edit the tier policy by selecting the appropriate options.
Workflow information is provided at the bottom of the wizard panel.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
To edit a data movement or a prune policy on a secondary tier
- Click on the secondary tier policy (data movement or prune policy) that you want to edit.
- Click the pencil icon.
- Different fields display depending on which policy you choose to edit.
