0 - (Default) Use the advanced site settings: Content Conversion/OCR language, and Content Conversion/OCR optimization.

1 - Do not apply the Content Conversion OCR site settings. Instead, use whatever settings are currently in force on the local server.

Description

This value is supported as a local server override of the site settings, OCR language and OCR optimization. The site settings should be used to ensure a consistent content conversion configuration for all Enterprise Vault Storage servers in the site.

When the value of OCRUseLocalServerSettings is non-zero, the OCR language and OCR optimization site settings are not applied to the Windows TIFF IFilter configuration when the Storage service starts. The current local server settings are used instead.

This setting could be used to enable multiple languages from a code page set, or to use the system default language.

Restart the Storage service to apply changes to the setting value.
