Description | For Windows file servers you can specify a maximum rate of placeholder recall on each computer that runs an Enterprise Vault Placeholder service. This limit controls the maximum rate at which an individual user can recall files. It also prevents any applications that do not honor the file system offline attribute from recalling all files that had been archived from a volume. If the recall limit is exceeded, the application receives an Access Denied status. How the status is displayed to the user depends on each individual application. RecallLimitMaxRecalls specifies the maximum number of items that a user is allowed to recall in RecallLimitTimeInterval seconds. The default maximum rate is 20 recalls in 10 seconds. You can use another registry value to waive the maximum recall rate for members of the local Administrators group on the file server, if required. |
