1 - (Default) Include the metadata properties for file types that contain embedded metadata.

Description

When converting items to HTML, specifies whether to include the metadata properties for file types that contain embedded metadata.

The set of metadata properties depends on whether the file type content contains embedded properties, and the content converter that is configured for the file type. For example, the metadata properties for a photo file could include camera details. For PDF and Microsoft Office documents, the metadata properties could include author, subject, and created and last modified dates.

This registry value performs the same function as an advanced Content Conversion setting, Include metadata properties, which you can configure through the Enterprise Vault site settings in the Vault Administration Console. Note the following:

Setting the registry value rather than the Administration Console site setting is recommended for Enterprise Vault 12.2.3 only. For Enterprise Vault 12.3 and later, we recommend that you use the site setting.
In Enterprise Vault 12.3 and later, changing the site setting also updates the registry value. However, the reverse is not true; changing the registry value does not update the site setting in the Administration Console.
