IP agent

The IP agent assigns a virtual IP address to the network interface card (NIC), monitors the IP address, and removes it.

This agent supports intelligent resource monitoring and uses Intelligent Monitoring Framework (IMF) for resource state change notifications. The agent relies on the network and hardware events raised by the operating system. For example, an event is raised when an IP address becomes unavailable.
