Showing items in a list in the results pane
You can change how the results pane shows the items that match your search criteria. By default, the results pane shows items in a column view, which gives detailed customizable information about each item. However, you can switch to a compact list view. If screen space is limited, you may find that the list view is easier to use than the column view.
To show items in a list in the results pane
- Run a search or select a folder to populate the results pane with some items.
- Click Show above the results pane.
The Show option is above the columns of the results pane and is available only when the results pane is showing items.
- Select Show Items in a List.
You can use the Arrange by option above the results pane to sort the items.
