Share does not get updated with modified IP if the IP used by a CIFS share is modified using the network ip addr modify command
In Access Appliance, CIFS share resources have FQDN in ShareOptions instead of IP. As part of the network ip addr modify command, the old FQDN is not replaced with the FQDN of the new IP for the CIFS share. Hence, ShareOptions does not get updated. As a result, the CIFS share does not get updated with FQDN of the modified IP.

Workaround:
To remove the old IP from the share and assign a new IP to the share:
Delete the share which uses the old IP address using the cifs share delete <sharename> command.
Note:
There is no data loss in this process.
Create a new share which uses the new IP address using the cifs share add <fsname> <sharename> <options>,ip=<new IP> command.
