Manual download of the aptare.jar file
Use the following procedure to manually update your Data Collector:
Use the downloadlib utility to manually download the
aptare.jar
file. Note that this utility must be run with administrative privileges.Windows: <Home>\mbs\bin\downloadlib.bat
Linux: <Home>/mbs/bin/downloadlib.sh
If you run the downloadlib utility and you get the following message, it indicates that the restore failed or is in progress: Restore has been running for more than 10 minutes, unable to proceed with collector upgrade.
To proceed, delete the restore.txt file and re-run downloadlib.
Windows: <Home>\upgrade\restore.txt
Linux: <Home>/upgrade/restore.txt
