Datastore Performance Summary
Explore your data center using customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.
Use the Reports tab to examine the catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
Lists Datastores with disk I/O statistics, including read/write latency. Disk Read and Write Latency is available only for ESX Hosts (not VMs). Therefore, latency performance charts are available only for partitions of Type=Host.
Note:
If some Datastores are missing from this report, it is likely due to virtual systems that have a status of pending deletion and therefore do not have any performance data to display.
Note:
Column aggregations are displayed in green on a separate line with the label Aggregation. Rollover the value to display the aggregation type: Avg., Min., Max., or Sum. Column filtering is not supported on reports with aggregated columns.

Disk I/O wait time, which is the average for the report's Group By interval; Disk Read and Write Latency is available only for ESX Hosts (not VMs). Therefore, latency performance charts are available only for partitions of Type=Host. |

Average disk read transfer rate for the report's Group By interval. |
