Table: List of log files lists the various log files and their location. The log files contain useful information for identifying issues and resolving them.

VCS engine log file | /var/VRTSvcs/log/engine_A.log | Contains all actions performed by the high availability daemon had. Note: Verify if there are any CVM errors logged in this file, since they may prove to be critical errors. |
CVM log files | /var/adm/vx/cmdlog /var/adm/vx/ddl.log /var/adm/vx/translog /var/adm/vx/dmpevents.log /var/VRTSvcs/log/engine_A.log | The cmdlog file contains the list of CVM commands. For more information on collecting important CVM logs: |
VCS agent log files | /var/VRTSvcs/log/agenttype_A.log where agenttype is the type of the VCS agent.
