New features for NetBackup for DB2

The following features are available in this release:

  • The RBAC role named Default DB2 Administrator provides the permissions for a DB2 administrator to view and restore DB2 backups with the command nbdb2adutl. The administrator can also view and manage DB2 jobs.

  • The nbdb2adutl command adds the ability to query or extract DB2 backup images from the NetBackup catalog.
