CyberArk setup prerequisites
The following constructs must be in place within the CyberArk application before setting up NetBackup IT Analytics:
An application object must be created to uniquely identify NetBackup IT Analytics.
In the Password safe, provision the Oracle database user account or accounts for NetBackup IT Analytics that will be subject to automatic password change.
Add the CyberArk Application Password Providers and application as members of the Safes where the Oracle user account passwords are stored.
NetBackup IT Analytics uses the following user accounts for the Oracle Database.
Note:
At least one account must be configured in CyberArk to enable this feature.
Portal: This user is created during installation by the NetBackup IT Analytics application.
aptare_ro: This read-only user is created during installation by the NetBackup IT Analytics application.
Once at least one of these accounts are added in CyberArk, they should be configured in NetBackup IT Analytics application to fetch the latest password from CyberArk.
