Custom parameters

Customizations to the Portal extend beyond what is available in the System Configuration. When working with Services and Veritas Support, you may be required to add or edit custom parameters to address a particular issue. The Custom Parameters tab enables free-form key value pairs to further customize NetBackup IT Analytics.

Note:

Prior to version 10.3, customizations to the Portal were made using a file, portal.properties. Not all of those settings are displayed in the System Configuration feature. If you upgrade from a version prior to 10.3, those properties are displayed and automatically populated in the Custom Parameters.
