Installation or upgrade of VRTSsfmh or VRTSvbs package from Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager may fail if publisher is set (3306997)

Installation or upgrade of VRTSsfmh or VRTSvbs package through Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager may fail with the following error message:

pkg install: The proposed operation on this parent image 
cannot be performed because temporary origins were specified and 
this image has children. Please either retry the operation again 
without specifying any temporary origins, or if packages from 
additional origins are required, please configure those origins
persistently.

The error occurs if you install or upgrade the VRTSsfmh or VRTSvbs package using Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager on a host where non-global zones are in running or installed state. This issue is observed only on systems running Oracle Solaris 11.

Workaround: Bring all the containers in configured state or upgrade the packages manually as follows:

# pkg set-publisher -p <path to p5p for VRTSsfmh> Symantec
# pkg install --accept VRTSsfmh
# pkg unset-publisher Symantec
# pkg set-publisher -p <path to p5p for VRTSvbs> Symantec
# pkg install --accept VRTSvbs
# pkg unset-publisher Symantec
