Precautions - heavy equipment

Inappropriate handling of hardware can result in serious injury, equipment damage, or both. Always use appropriate practices, techniques, and tools.

Install the heaviest devices in the bottom of a rack. The rack may tip over if heavy devices are installed at the top of the rack. Injury to personnel and damage to equipment is likely. The storage shelf is heavier than the appliance. Install the storage shelves in the bottom of the rack. Install the appliance higher in the rack than the storage shelves.
