Configure Windows exporter
Windows exporter is an open-source Prometheus exporter designed to collect metrics from a Windows host. The collector exposes all the collected metrics on port 9182 on path /metrics. Since running the Windows exporter without any configuration enables all of its default collectors, no specific configuration is required for the exporter.

Note:
You can ignore the error level=error msg="Failed to start service: The service process could not connect to the service controller." source="exporter.go:337" if you see it when you start the exporter. The error may appear as the exporter is configured to run as a service on the a Windows server.
