Issue: Backup failures are not creating incidents in ServiceNow

If backup failures are not creating incidents in ServiceNow, first check if those failures are being populated into the source table (apt_job_ticket) in the IT Analytics database.

  • If the source table is not being populated, contact Veritas Support to diagnose the problem.

  • If job records are present, check if:

    • There were errors reported with connectivity/credentials for the MID Server.

    • The scheduled import is running.

    • The transform map had errors.
