Installing VBS on Microsoft Failover Clustering nodes
To Install VBS on Microsoft Failover Clustering nodes:
- Log on as a user that has administrative rights on the Microsoft Failover Clustering nodes where you want to install the VBS package.
- Run the setup.exe program from the DVD to launch the installer.
- From the list of packages, select Virtual Business Services Third Party Support and click the "Install Virtual Business Services" link below it. Run the installer from the pop-up window.
- On the installer window, enter the system name or IP address of each node on which you want to install the package. To install on the local system, enter LOCALHOST in the text-box and click Add.
- Keep the Licensing option as Keyless unless Veritas has issued you a custom key. If you have a custom key, select User entered license key and enter the required details in the pop-up window.
- Click to start the installation.
