Link Service Groups panel options
Use this wizard panel to establish a relationship between the selected parent and child service group.
Table: Link Service Group panel options
Fields | Description |
---|---|
Parent | Select the parent service group for which you want to set the order. |
Select child service group | Select the child service group to be associated with the selected parent service group. |
Name | Displays the name of the child service group that is to be linked with the parent service group. |
Cluster | Displays the cluster the child service group belongs to. |
HA Provider | Displays the name of HA provider. |
Type | Select the type of dependency for the parent-child service group pair. By default, it is set to soft. You can also use other two types of dependencies, namely, firm and restart. The fault propagation behavior of three policies is listed below:
