TMG configuration for the Office Mail App
The following steps describe how to configure a new firewall policy rule to allow connection to the Enterprise Vault Office Mail App. This step assumes that you have already configured a rule to allow connectivity to OWA 2013, as described in the previous section.
This rule will also publish Enterprise Vault Browser Search, Integrated Search, and Help pages.
Start by copying and pasting your OWA 2013 firewall policy rule. You can then modify this rule to work for the Office Mail App.
Double-click the new rule to modify the settings.
Enter an appropriate name, as shown in the following example:
On the To tab, change the URL to your Enterprise Vault Office Mail App:
On the Public Name tab, select the previous website entry and click

to create a new website entry that matches the Enterprise Vault Office Mail App requests, as set when configuring your Office Mail App using the PowerShell New-App command and BaseURL parameterOn the Paths tab, remove all previous external paths that are published:

and , and then apply the new rule settings:Now ensure that the Enterprise Vault Office Mail App loads correctly. On first access you are presented with a request for user credentials. Due to the nature of connection through a TMG server it is not possible to add your Enterprise Vault server to the local intranet zone, as with internal requests, to prevent this request from occurring. However, users can prevent future requests for credentials by selecting
