Use this command to delete existing standard shares, optimized shares, optimized share reserves, or CDP Gateway.
SYNOPSIS
Delete CDPGateway
Delete Share ShareName
Delete OptimizedShareReserve
DESCRIPTION
The Delete command lets you delete the following storage partitions:
CDP Gateway
Standard Shares
Optimized Shares
Optimized Share Reserve
Note:
You cannot delete any shares if the appliance is set to the high security mode.
OPTIONS
- Delete CDPGateway
Use this command to delete the existing CDP gateway partition.
Warning:
This operation deletes all data and cannot be undone. Before you proceed, make sure that the defined CDP gateway configuration is removed from the NetBackup primary server. For complete details, see the NetBackup Web UI VMware Administrator's Guide.
- Delete Share ShareName
Use this command to delete a standard share or optimized share.
ShareName defines the name of the share you want to delete.
- Delete OptimizedShareReserve
Use this command to delete the optimized share reserve.
Note:
All optimized shares must be deleted before you can delete the optimized share reserve.
