NetBackup for SAP MaxDB

Licensing for SAP MaxDB is specific to the SAP policy type. This type of licensing collects the total number of Front-End Terabytes (FETBs) protected by NetBackup.

NetBackup calculates the size considering total number of bytes read from MaxDB.

The following SAP MaxDB query is used to validate reported size in the usage report:

dbmcli -d <dbname> -u <username>,<password> info state
