Import or export job filters

The job filter export and import features allow users to share job filters between users or other NetBackup domains.

Import a jobs filter

To import a jobs filter

  1. On the left, click Activity monitor. Then click the Jobs tab.
  2. In the toolbar, click Filter icon.
  3. Click Actions > Manage filters.
  4. Click My list.
  5. Click Add > Import.
  6. Select the filter that you want to import.

 

Export a jobs filter

To export a jobs filter

  1. On the left, click Activity monitor. Then click the Jobs tab.
  2. In the toolbar, click Filter icon.
  3. Click Actions > Manage filters.
  4. Click My list or Shared.
  5. Select the filter that you want to export.
  6. Click Export.

    NetBackup exports the filter as a .json file. Note that changing the name of the file does not change the filter name. You can change the filter name after it is imported.
