Add a Resiliency Platform
You can add one or more than one Resiliency Platforms in NetBackup. The Resiliency Platform lets you add virtual machines and automate protection. If the resiliency manager is using a third-party certificate, see the NetBackup Web UI Administrator's Guide.
To add a Resiliency Platform
- On the left, click Resiliency.
- Click the Resiliency Platform tab.
- Click Add Resiliency Platform.
- Read the instructions on the Add Resiliency Platform dialog box and click Next.
- In the Add credentials dialog box, enter a value in the following fields and click Next:
Resiliency manager host name or IP address
Resiliency Platform API access key
NetBackup API access key
- In the Add data center and Infrastructure management server dialog box, select a data center.
- In the Infrastructure management server section, select a preferred server.
- Click Add.
After you add the Resiliency Platform in NetBackup, the NetBackup primary server will be configured automatically in the Resiliency Platform.
Note:
If the NetBackup has FIPS mode enabled and you need to fetch the respective certificates, refer Integrating with NetBackup
topic in Resiliency Platform product documentation
. You need to install Resiliency Platform certificates in FIPS trust store and then add the Resiliency Platform. (Only done when NetBackup has FIPS mode enabled)
