Enabling Domino journal custom filtering
The procedure in this section describes how to enable Domino journal custom filtering.
To enable Domino journal custom filtering
- On the computer than runs the Domino journal archiving task, log in using the Vault Service account.
- If it does not already exist, create a new registry key called Lotus Journaling under the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Software \Wow6432Node \KVS \Enterprise Vault \External Filtering
- Under Lotus Journaling, create a registry string value called 1, and assign to it a data value in the following format:
dll_name!class_name
Where:
dll_name is KVS.EnterpriseVault.LotusDominoCustomFilter
class_name is KVS.EnterpriseVault.LotusDomino.CustomFilter
- If you run Domino journal archiving tasks on other Enterprise Vault servers, repeat this procedure on each of these servers.
