Hitachi NAS Virtual Volume Summary
Explore your data center using customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.
Use the Reports tab to examine the catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:
This report lists all of the Hitachi NAS (HNAS) Virtual Volumes (VV) configured as of the last data collection cycle. There will be a line item for each VV in the scope of the report. Multiple filers possible. Virtual Volumes are allocated from filesystems and appear to clients as a normal filesystem.
Table: Hitachi NAS Virtual Volume Summary
Column name | Description |
---|---|
Overview | |
Storage Array |
The name given to the storage array. |
Virtual Volume Name |
Name of the virtual volume. |
EVS Name |
Name given to the enterprise virtual server (EVS). |
Filesystem Name |
The instance name of the filesystem. For storage-based snapshots, this is the name assigned when the filesystem was created or renamed. |
Span Instance Name |
The name that was assigned to the span when it was created. |
Root Path |
Path to the root of the virtual volume. |
Email List |
Email contact list of an existing virtual volume. |
Usage | |
Used Capacity |
Capacity used by virtual volume. Values are stored in the database as KiB and rendered according to your user profile preferences. |
Limit | Maximum limit for capacity of virtual volume. For example Usage: 55.03 GB, Limit : 2 TB (Hard). Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences. |
Limit Type | Indicates if the usage limit is a hard or soft value. |
Warning Threshold | Warning threshold for capacity used by virtual volume. For example Usage: 55.03 GB, Limit: 2 TB (Hard), Warning: 75% (1.5 TB). Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences. |
Warning Theshold % | Warning threshold percentage for capacity used by virtual volume. |
Critical Threshold | Critical threshold for capacity used by virtual volume. For example Usage: 55.03 GB, Limit: 2 TB (Hard), Critical: 1.7 TB. Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences. |
Critical Threshold % | Critical threshold percentage for capacity used by virtual volume. |
Reset Threshold | Amount by which usage must fall below a threshold before re-logging its event. For example Usage: 55.03 GB, Limit: 2 TB (Hard), Critical: 1.7 TB. Values are stored as KiB in the database and rendered according to your user profile preferences. |
Reset Threshold % | Percentage by which usage must fall below a threshold before re-logging its event. |
File Count | |
# Files | Number of files associated with the virtual volume. |
Limit | Maximum number of files that can be associated with the virtual volume. |
Limit Type | Indicates if the file count limit is a hard or soft value. |
Warning Threshold | Warning threshold for number of files associated with the virtual volume. |
Warning Threshold % | Warning threshold percentage for number of files associated with the virtual volume. |
Critical Threshold | Critical threshold for number of files associated with the virtual volume. |
Critical Threshold % | Critical threshold percentage for number of files associated with the virtual volume. |
Reset Threshold | Amount by which file count must fall below a threshold before re-logging its event. |
