This report lists the Storage Lifecycle Policy (SLP) status for NetBackup jobs, from the Image perspective.
Table: NetBackup SLP Status by Image
Column name | Description |
---|---|
Master Server |
This is where the SLP is located. Click the link to drill down to the SLP Status by SLP report. This column lists all the master servers that have associated SLPs. An SLP may be on the origin master server or on any of the destination master servers (in the case of duplication to a remote master . Click the link to view Host Details. |
SLP Name |
Name of the SLP that is configured on the master server |
SLP Version |
Version that is associated with the specific SLP on the associated master server. Click the link to view details. See NetBackup SLP Details . |
Policy Name |
Policy that is associated with the SLP. |
Schedule Name |
Schedule that is associated with the NetBackup policy. |
Client Name |
Client name that is backed up by the SLP for the selected master server. |
Origin master Server |
Where the primary backup copy resides. The SLP may run on the origin master server or any of the destination master servers (in the case of duplication to a remote master ). If duplication is to a remote master server, the origin master server and master server where the SLP lives (or is currently running) may be different. |
Image ID |
Image ID associated with the image. The image ID is unique for each image. |
Backup Time |
Date and time the primary backup started. |
SLP Completion Time |
Date and time when the image is SLP-complete. |
Lag Time |
This value calculated as the SLP completion time minus the backup time, can be used to determine how much time is required to duplicate the primary copy to a particular destination for a specific SLP. It reflects how fast or slow duplications occur. This value is displayed in milliseconds. |
Total Copies |
Total number of copies for the specific SLP and image on the selected master server (includes both complete copies and incomplete copies). |
Copies Completed |
The number of completed copies that are present for the specific SLP and image on the selected master server. |
Copies Not Completed |
The number of incomplete copies for the specific SLP and image on the selected master server, calculated as: Copies not Complete = Total Copies - Copies Completed. |
% Copy Complete |
Percentage of completed copies for the specific SLP and image on the selected master server., calculated as: Copies Completed / Total Copies * 100. |
Total Expected Size |
The size of all copies for the SLP, calculated as: (Number of copies for the specific SLP) * (backup copy size for the specific SLP). Note: The total expected size for all copies is a front-end size and is derived from the number of copies multiplied by the size of the backup copy. The effects of deduplication, compression, and optimized deduplication on the Total Expected Size are not considered in the SLP reports. |
Completed Copy Size |
Aggregate size of all the completed copies for the specific SLP and image on the selected master server. |
Remaining Copy Size |
Aggregate size of all remaining copies that are to be created for the specific SLP and image on the selected master server. This value is calculated as: (Remaining Copy Count) x (Size of Backup Copy1). |
Completed Copy Size % |
Percentage of completed copy size for the specific SLP on the selected master server. This value is calculated as: Completed Copy Size / Total Expected Size - all copies * 100. This is derived from the aggregate size of all the completed copies for the specific SLP on the selected master server. |
