Reviewing emails and collaboration messages
You can view the archived emails and MS Teams chats and channels if you have subscribed for the Exchange and the MS Teams Archiving service respectively, and these services are enabled for you.
To review emails and collaboration messages
- In the left navigation pane, click Review.
- Search for and select the department for which you want to review items.
Note:
Veritas Advanced Supervision lists all departments. You can use the filtering options to search the required department. Options include filtering by department name, exception employees, and reviewers associated with the department.
- (Optional) To reset the filtering criteria, click Clear, and set a new criterion.
To set a filter criteria, See Filtering the items in the Review pane.
Note:
If only the Exchange service is enabled for you, you can filter emails only. If the MS Teams Archiving service is also enable for you, you can filter and review collaboration messages too.
- Click Apply.
The application displays emails and collaboration messages (Teams Chat and Channel messages) from the selected departments. You can easily distinguish the items by looking at the message type icons.
To prioritize and focus more on the items that are relevant for review, you can pay attention to the Relevance Score column. The items with the higher relevance score are more relevant, whereas the items with the low relevance score tend to be irrelevant.
Note:
The Relevance Score column is displayed in the list pane by default. However, the score (value) is calculated and displayed only if the intelligent review service is enabled for the selected departments. For the departments that are not enabled for the intelligent review service, the application displays the column, but the values remain blank.
- To review the filtered email, select the email, and do the following:
Click the Preview tab to view item details and content.
To assign status to the selected email, click Pending, Questioned, Review Irrelevant, Reviewed Relevant, Escalate, or Appraised as required.
To download the item, click the Kebab icon, and click Download.
Click the Comments tab to view previous review comments for the selected email.
To comment on the selected email, click Add Comment. See Adding comments to items.
Click the History tab to view the detailed summary of the operations that are performed on the selected email.
- To review the filtered collaboration message, select a message and do the following:
Click the Preview tab to view item details and content.
You can view the conversation happened in a day. To view previous conversation instances, click the Kebab icon (Three vertical dots) and select Scroll On.
To download the item, click the Kebab icon, and click Download.
To download the attachment from conversation, go to the collaboration message that includes an attachment. Click the Download icon adjacent to the attachment.
To assign status to the selected message, click Pending, Questioned, Review Irrelevant, Reviewed Relevant, Escalate, or Appraised as required.
Click the Comments tab to view previous review comments for the selected email.
To comment on the selected email, click Add Comment. See Adding comments to items.
