Switch service groups panel options

Use this panel to provide site and systems (cluster nodes) related information to switch one or more service groups to another system.

For single service group: Table: Switch single service group panel options

Description

Select the system you want to switch service group to:

Select the required system to switch the selected service group to.

A failover service group can switch to any specific system, any system in the cluster, or any system from the selected site.

A hybrid service group can switch to any specific system.

The switch operation is not supported for the parallel service group.

Note:

For the switch operation on multiple service groups, though Arctera InfoScale Operations Manager displays all sites for the selected service groups, it is important to note that some sites may not be applicable to a service group or groups. The switch operation will be successful only for those sites which are applicable to the selected service groups. The switch operation is ignored for the remaining service groups.
