Uninstalling Veritas System Recovery 21 Management Solution

You can uninstall Veritas System Recovery 21 Management Solution from the computer on which Notification Server is installed. The uninstallation program removes the files and registry settings that were set up or copied onto the computer's hard disk during installation. The uninstallation program also removes the policies and tasks that were setup or created while using Veritas System Recovery 21 Management Solution.

When you uninstall the solution, Veritas System Recovery is not uninstalled from any managed client computers that you added to the console.

To uninstall Veritas System Recovery 21 Management Solution

  1. Log on to your computer by using either the Administrator account or an account with administrator privileges.
  2. On the computer where Notification Server is installed, click Start > All Programs > Symantec > Symantec Installation Manager > Symantec Installation Manager.

    Note:

    Ensure that you select the Veritas_SSR.pl.xml file before you uninstall Veritas System Recovery 21 Management Solution.

  3. Select Veritas System Recovery 21 Management Solution in the Installed products list.
  4. Click Uninstall.
  5. Click Yes.
