Configuration checklist

Table: Configuration checklist shows the recommended sequence of steps for configuring Self Service for the first time.

Install NetBackup Self Service (see NetBackup Self Service 10.3 Installation Guide)

For pre-NetBackup 10.3, configure remote PowerShell for a Windows primary server.

For pre-NetBackup 10.3, configure SSH for a UNIX primary server.

For NetBackup 10.3 or later, follow the steps shown:

  • Submit a Restore File request.

  • Submit a Restore VM request.

  • Submit a Restore Cloud Asset request.
