Enabling the analysis of hotwords

Compliance Accelerator analyses the hotwords that are found within an item and lets you view statistics of the hotwords that are found in each item and the attachments, if any.

You can enable or disable hotword analysis by using the Enable analysis of hotwords configuration option in the Compliance Accelerator client.

When you enable the Enable analysis of hotwords configuration option, the following additional facilities become available in Compliance Accelerator:

  • The Item list in the Review pane includes the Hotwords hits column, which shows you the count of the hotwords that are found in each item.

  • The Review preferences dialog box includes the Enable hotwords statistics option, which lets you view the statistics of the hotwords that are found in each item and its location whether in the top-level message or attachment.

  • The Filter section in the Review pane includes the Hotword and Hotword Set facets, which you can use to return items based on the selected hotwords or hotword sets.

  • The filter pane in the Searches tab in the Research tab and the Department tab let you filter the searches that are in review on the basis of the hotword analysis status.
