Limitations and considerations for Dell EMC PowerStore NAS plug-in
Following considerations and limitations are applicable in a Dell EMC PowerStore NAS environment.
All snapshots are captured at a file system level and those snapshots are in read-only mode.
The limit for any file system name is 255 characters, NFS export/SMB share name is 80 characters on the array. In case of a snapshot name, the maximum length must be 255 characters.
Dell EMC PowerStore plug-in does not support point-in-time (PIT) rollback restore of shares using snapshots.
