About configuring the Access Appliance network

Access Appliance has the following types of networks:

  • Private network

    The network between the nodes of the cluster itself. The private network is not accessible to Access Appliance client nodes.

  • Public network

    The public network is visible to all clients. Access Appliance uses static IP address for its public interface networking. Access Appliance does not support DHCP for public network configuration.
