DESCRIPTION

This command enables you to set or show the appliance node hostname.

OPTIONS

Hostname Set Name

Set the host name.

The Name variable contains the short host name or the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the host.

Note:

The host name can only be set during an initial configuration on an appliance node. After the initial configuration has completed successfully, you can re-enter the initial configuration by performing a factory reset on the appliance.

Show

Display the host name.
