In NetBackup 8.1, the media servers can be used as a proxy tunnel for clients that cannot connect directly with the master server.
If there are issues between the clients and media servers that act as a proxy, the nbpxytnl
logging should be increased. The logging level can be changed using the vxlogcfg command. See the following examples:
To add logging, use the following command:
vxlogcfg -a -p NB -o 490 -s DebugLevel=6
To remove logging, use the following command:
vxlogcfg -r -p NB -o 490 -s DebugLevel=6
