Adding an Enterprise Vault policy
This topic describes how to add an Enterprise Vault backup policy.
To add a new policy
- Open the NetBackup web UI and sign into the primary server.
- On the left, select Protection > Policies.
- Select the Add button.
- On the Attributes tab, do the following:
In the Policy name field, type a unique name for the policy.
From the Policy type list, select Enterprise-Vault.
The Enterprise Vault database agent policy type displays if the primary server has a license for this database agent.
Continue by adding additional policy information as follows:
Add schedules.
Add clients.
Add Enterprise Vault directives to the backup selections list.
- When you finish configuring the schedule, client, and backup selections, select the Create button.
