The following notes detail information about using Simplified Disaster Recovery with Backup Exec:
If you try SDR restore of an RS3 operating system, the volumes created on storage pools and spaces do not auto-map. Such volumes are listed as mismatched in SDR recovery wizard. This issue is observed if the SDR restore is on the same machine as the backup.
32- bit SDR disk creation might fail on a Windows 2012 R2 or earlier server. As a workaround, use either the Backup Exec server or the remote administration console installed on a machine that runs Windows Server 2016 to create a 32-bit SDR disk.
