Explanation: The master server has detected unauthorized connection attempts to nbemm
. An attempted threshold count has been reached. You need to determine if a configuration change is required to maintain good performance of the master server.
Recommended Action: This error does not necessarily mean that a configuration change is required. However, repeated instances of this error indicate that a configuration change should be considered to maintain good master server performance.
Perform the following as appropriate:
Add authorization for the media server on the master server.
Add media server to the PBX
BLOCK_SERVER_SERVICE
list on the master server. The services that should be blocked areEMM
andNBREM

Uninstall media server software.
Shut down the media server.
Warning:
In a NetBackup DNAT environment, the identified IP address and host name may point to a gateway and not the media server. Verify the host information before attempting additional steps to resolve the problem.
