Upgrade
After you upgrade to Veritas System Recovery 18, the first backup at the next scheduled execution time is a full backup.
When you upgrade to Veritas System Recovery 18 and later, Veritas Update is used. The Symantec LiveUpdate does not get uninstalled from your computer. If you have multiple Veritas products on your computer, that use the Symantec LiveUpdate server, you need to retain Symantec LiveUpdate. If you are certain that only Veritas System Recovery 18 and later is installed on your computer, you can uninstall Symantec LiveUpdate.
When you upgrade to Veritas System Recovery 18 and later, the Distributed Transaction Coordinator service must be enabled.
