NetBackup for Sybase environment variables
When a schedule runs, NetBackup sets environment variables for the scripts to use when performing the backup.

$SYBACKUP_SERVER | %SYBACKUP_SERVER% | Name of the NetBackup server. |
$SYBACKUP_POLICY | %SYBACKUP_POLICY% | Name of the NetBackup policy. |
$SYBACKUP_SCHED | %SYBACKUP_SCHED% | |
$SYBACKUP_SCHEDULED | %SYBACKUP_SCHEDULED% | Set to 1 if this is a scheduled backup (Automatic Backup). |
$SYBACKUP_USER_INITIATED | %SYBACKUP_USER_INITIATED% | Set to 1 if this is a user-initiated backup (Application Backup backup). |
$SYBACKUP_PARENT_JOBID | %SYBACKUP_PARENT_JOBID% | Parent job ID of the current backup job. The -PARENT_JOB_ID parameter must be specified for every dump and stripe command during the backup operation.

Note:
The $SYBACKUP_POLICY (%SYBACKUP_POLICY%) and $SYBACKUP_SCHED (%SYBACKUP_SCHED%) variables are set only if the backup is initiated from the server, either automatically by the NetBackup scheduler or manually through the NetBackup Administration Console.
