Editing Google Cloud Storage (S3) partition

To edit an existing Google Cloud Storage (S3) partition
  1. On the Configuration Vault Store partition, right-click and select Properties.

  2. Click the Replication tab.

By default, the UI of the When archived files exist on the storage selected option and an editable field for scan interval are displayed. Based on your requirements, type the scan interval value in the field. The supported scan interval is from 0 minutes to 1440 minutes. By default, Enterprise Vault checks whether the archived data has been replicated or exists every 60 minutes. If you set the scan interval to 0 minutes, partitions are checked only when the backup mode is cleared from the vault store and when the storage service starts.

  3. Click the Advance tab.

The UI displays the Access keys, Service host name, Bucket access type, Bucket region, Storage class, Log level, and buffer size information. Based on your requirements, type the required value in these fields. For example, type a new Access key ID, and Secret access key or select another option from the drop-down list.

    Note:

To return to the last saved configuration, click Reset.

  4. Click Test or Apply to save your changes.

If you click Apply, it automatically initiates the Test configuration with the Google Cloud Storage bucket.

  5. On the successful Test configuration, restart the storage service.

  6. Click Ok.
