Delete a Restore
Once a Restore is no longer needed, it can be safely deleted from a policy.
Deleting a Restore only deletes the NetBackup for OpenStack information about this Restore. No OpenStack resources are deleted.
There are two possibilities to delete a Restore.
Possibility 1: Single Restore deletion through the submenu
To delete a single Restore through the submenu follow these steps:
On the Horizon console, navigate to NBOS Backups > Policies.
Identify the policy that contains the snapshot to delete.
Click the policy name to enter the policy overview.
Navigate to the
tab.Identify the searched snapshot in the snapshot list.
Click the snapshot name.
Navigate to the Restore tab.
Click
in the line of the restore in question.Click
again to confirm.
Possibility 2: Multiple Restore deletion through a checkbox in snapshot overview
To delete one or more Restores through the Restore list do the following:
On the Horizon console, navigate to NBOS Backups > Policies.
Identify the policy that contains the snapshot to show.
Click the policy name to enter the policy overview.
Navigate to the Snapshots tab.
Identify the searched snapshot in the snapshot list.
Enter the snapshot by clicking the snapshot name.
Navigate to the Restore tab.
Select the check box for each Restore that shall be deleted.
Click

again to confirm.
