Uploading log packages to Veritas Support
You can share the logs with the Support personnel to help you diagnose problems. The existing log packages are displayed under Packaged logs.
To upload the log package:
- Sign in to the Access Appliance UI using the following URL:
http://console-ip:14161
where console-ip is the management console IP address where the web interface is hosted..
- Select the package that you want to upload to and click Send.
- On the Send packaged logs dialog box, use the Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to upload the logs. Specify the following details, and then click Send.
Field
Description
Server address
Remote server name.
Port
Port number. By default the SFTP server is configured to listen to port 22.
User name
User name to authenticate with the server.
Password
Password to authenticate with the server.
Path
Location to upload the log package.
