The blue tab on the SAS-3 cable should be on the same side of the cable as the SAS-3 label when the cable is connected.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the right port in the appliance RAID PCIe card.
Be sure that the blue tab on the connector in this port points down.
- Connect a SAS-3 cable to port B in the bottom I/O module of the fourth shelf. Connect the other end of the cable to port A in the bottom I/O module of the third shelf.
The blue tab on the SAS-3 cable should be on the same side of the cable as the SAS-3 label when the cable is connected.
- Connect port B in the bottom I/O module of the third shelf to port A in the bottom I/O module in the second shelf.
The blue tab on the SAS-3 cable should be on the same side of the cable as the SAS-3 label when the cable is connected.
- Connect port B in the bottom I/O module of the second shelf to port A in the bottom I/O module in the first shelf.
The blue tab on the SAS-3 cable should be on the same side of the cable as the SAS-3 label when the cable is connected.
