Tuning LLT for memory and performance in FSS environments
In remote direct memory access (RDMA) environments, you can limit the memory consumption for shipping I/O over the network by assigning the buffer pool memory in the LLT configuration file. The LLT_BUFPOOL_MAXMEM
tunable lets you specify a minimum amount of memory that can be pre-allocated and the maximum amount of memory that can be allocated for the LLT buffer pool. This buffer pool is used to allocate memory for RDMA operations and packet allocation, which are delivered to the LLT clients. The default value is 4GB, the minimum value is 1GB, and the maximum value is 10GB. You must specify the value in GB.
