When running Enterprise Vault Configuration Wizard, Enterprise Vault may fail to connect to SQL Server
In the Enterprise Vault Configuration Wizard, if SQL Server is previously configured for high availability, you must enter the name in the format virtualservername\instancename.
Rarely, when you click
after specifying virtualservername\instancename, a message is displayed that Enterprise Vault failed to connect to SQL Server. If you receive this message, use the following workaround. (2432332)Workaround: In the SQL Server name field, replace the virtual server name with the physical server name (entered as physicalservername\instancename) and click Next. When the wizard displays the next panel, click Back. Re-enter the name as virtualservername\instancename and click . Continue with the wizard.
