About subscription licensing
Starting with version 8.2, you can add multiple subscription licenses to increase the total cumulative licensed capacity and the subscription period. When you add multiple subscription licenses, the total licensed capacity is the cumulative licensed capacity of all the active subscription licenses. Stacking of licenses is supported only for subscription and perpetual licenses. Stacking multiple trialware licenses is not supported.
The following table shows how the licenses can be stacked:
Exissting license | Add additional license |
---|---|
Trialware | Perpetual, Subscription |
Perpetual | Perpetual |
Subscription | Subscription |
Alerts are generated if you no longer meet compliance standards.
For more details, see the "Managing licenses" section in the Veritas Access Appliance Administrator's Guide.
