About sentiment analysis
Starting with Enterprise Vault 14.2, Veritas Information Classifier has added support for sentiment analysis of an item and a sentiment score is calculated based on the content. Sentiment analysis measures the attitudes, opinions, and emotions expressed within any content using a combination of natural language processing techniques to provide users with a Sentiment Polarity score for that item. A score in the range of 0 to 100 is assigned, where 0 indicates that the item expresses a negative sentiment, 50 indicates that the item represents a neutral sentiment, and 100 indicates that the item represents a positive sentiment. Depending on how you want to interpret data, you can define and tailor policies with sentiment conditions to detect either ranges or the exact sentiment scores in items.
The Veritas Information Classifier does not come with any built-in policies with sentiment conditions, but you can create custom policies with sentiment conditions.
